At Munchkin Sports our mission has always been to encourage a ’sport for all’ approach and our ‘Munchkins-for-All’ CIC project delivers FREE PE lessons and lunch clubs to brand new reception starters. We want children to gain a positive relationship with physical activity and their new school environment from the offset.

We have been supporting children in their development and exposure to sport for the last 13 years. We have grown and attracted a diverse and experienced team of coaches. We have developed children from pre-school to Year 6 with strong sports and leadership skills through PE, lunch clubs, ASCs, camps and events and some of those young people are now coming back to us as confident, caring and engaging coaches who can role model, with insight, what sports can be and do for everyone. It’s the can-do attitude that counts!

We have watched the effects of Covid lockdowns and modern technology affecting resilience, independence and school engagement and see the mental health crisis first-hand. We know that the gentle and positive introduction to sports and group activity, that we offer at a key age, can generate a positive outcome for children in their social and academic lives.

Munchkin Sports donate contributions to Munchkins-for-All and also actively source external funding to support this community project. In the schools we work, with we donate one term of FREE PE lessons to new reception starters and one term of a lunch club.

We know that the government has cut school funding, and we are constantly working to offer a solution to this. It is more needed now than ever.

Finding activities that keep your children entertained, safe, and happy during the school holidays-while also helping them learn new skills-can be difficult. At Munchkins Camps, we design every day with every child in mind, offering a wide range of sports, team-building games, creative arts and crafts, and our hugely popular Mega Days – from animal encounters to giant inflatables and themed adventure days. Children develop motor skills, confidence, and independence through a blend of individual and group challenges, all within the unique camp atmosphere our experienced staff create.

Each camp is led by a fully trained Senior Camp Manager with Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid qualifications, supported by a dedicated team to ensure every day runs smoothly and safely.

At selected venues, we are pleased to offer swimming sessions as part of the daily activity schedule. On swimming days, children will have the opportunity to enjoy time in the pool with our qualified team, building confidence in the water through fun, structured activities. Please ensure your child brings their swimming kit only on the days listed below. If your child does not wish to take part in swimming, they will remain with their group and continue with our other planned activities – no child will ever miss out.
