The most common questions and answers regarding Munchkin Sports
We have an online booking system which will take the payments for each class or camp that we run, making it nice and easy for you to pay. Prices vary depending on the class so please visit the relevant booking section of our website.
As part of the subscription fee, you will receive lifetime membership to Munchkin Sports, a Munchkin Sports kit, rucksack, sticker reward chart and a water bottle. Your child will also be covered on our insurance policy.
Weekend classes depend on the age group. The 2-3 and 3-4yr old classes are 45 minutes with a drinks break in the middle, whilst the 4-7yr old classes are 60 minutes long.
After school clubs are generally between 45 and 60 minutes long (school dependent).
Holiday camps run from 9:30am – 4:30pm with an hour early drop off and late pick up available.
School PPA lessons are school dependent, however, are usually 60 minutes.
Weekend classes age groups are: 2-3yrs / 3-4yrs / 4-7yr
After school clubs run from Reception to Year 6
Holiday camps are for 4-11yr olds.
You are under no obligation to sign up for the full term. When you feel they may be ready you are welcome to book and pay for another trial session.
All Munchkin Sports classes are specifically non-contact. If for whatever reason your child does get hurt, all lead coaches are Paediatric First Aid trained.
We use multiple venues and schools in the local area so please check the website for location-specific information. At all weekend locations, we hire an indoor and outdoor facility so that classes can go ahead whatever the weather.
All Munchkin Sports classes are fully insured with the relevant personal accident and public liability Insurance cover. We take your child’s welfare extremely seriously and have a risk assessment in place for all venues and are updated regularly.
At the weekend’s, parents are actively encouraged to help their little ones in the 2-3yr old class. A child’s independence is one of the key learning points for the 3-4 and 4-7yr old classes so we encourage parents to be supportive from the sidelines.
For after-school clubs and holiday camps, parents are not required to be there so go and put your feet up!
