We understand that it is important you choose the right sports class for your child and that wraparound care is vital and can sometimes be confusing, so we have provided answers to some of the most frequently asked questions parents have when booking with Munchkin Sports. We run after school clubs for various ages depending on the needs of the school. Please view your school's specific page to see what clubs we run.
Our after school clubs vary in length from 45 minutes to one hour. Please view your school's specific page for club timings.
There is no need to stay with your child during our after school clubs. Our clubs operate straight after the school day and our coaches will collect the children at the end of the school day and bring them to our club.
Subject to availability in the club, we offer a paid trial session where your child can try the club out before committing to the term. If your child enjoys the session you will be able to sign them up for the remainder of the term and the cost of the term will be prorated.

Siblings must be over the age of 16 to collect your child and written permission for sibling or family friends collecting your child must be sent to the Admin Team ahead of the class so the team can record the permission and liaise with the Head Coach.
Please notify the Admin Team at the point of booking. A note will then be added to the register and our staff will ensure your child is taken to the school's after school club at the of the club.
To ensure the safety of the children, all children must wear trainers for the club. Please see your school's information for detailed changing guidance as this varies from school to school.
All classes will be held outside so please ensure you send your child into school with a warm waterproof coat as we are not afraid of a light rain shower. However, with the safety of the children our highest priority, should the weather or outside conditions become unsafe, we will endeavour to run the class inside. Please note, we may not be able to provide the same activity/sport on these occasions as we may be classroom based.
Spaces at our after school clubs are allocated for the school term and parents are asked to commit for the full term regardless of attendance.
Debit/credit card
If you are unable to make a class please notify the Admin Team who will report your absence to the Head Coach. Regretfully we cannot offer refunds, credits or catchup classes for non-attendance.
Subject to availaility you can join a class part way through a term. Term fees will be prorated. For the following term you will be asked to commit to the full term.
We don't offer refunds however if you are wishing to cancel a booking that is within our notice period we will happily cancel booking and place credit on account for future booking.
Our sibling discounts only apply to holiday camp bookings and not to after school clubs.
All Munchkin Sports Wraparound Care venues are Ofsted registered on the Early Years Register for 3-5 year olds, the Compulsory Register for 5-8 year olds and the Voluntary Register for 8-11 year olds. Our registrations mean we comply with the safeguarding, welfare and well-being, inclusion and learning and development Ofsted requirements. All our staff are fully vetted and trained and we ensure our extremely high standards are delivered consistently at every single one of our venues. Our policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure we meet the necessary requirements and the safety and welfare of the children in our camps will always be our number one priority.
Each of our venues has a separate registration and a unique registration number. This number will be required if you need to set up tax free childcare or childcare voucher payments with us, give feedback or view previous inspection reports.
Wraparound care runs from the end of the school day until 6pm. Please view your individual school's booking page for timing options and prices.

You may contact the Admin Team up until 5pm the day before the care date to cancel the place. Upon cancellation a credit will be placed onto your account or the booking may be moved to another day.
Please contact the Admin Team and they will either pass your message on to the Wraparound manager or will get the manager to contact you diectly.
During wraparound care your child will have the option to take part in variety of sports, arts and crafts activities and other activities such as scavenger hunts, parachute games and story time.
Please view your indiviual school's Wraparound Care information as this differs from location to location.
Our staff ensure that the site is a nut-free zone and will monitor snack and meal times to ensure that no food is shared and that there are no nuts or nut products present. Catering staff will ensire that all food prepared will accommodate and meet every child's medical or dietary requirements. Each member of staff will be made aware of the individual requirements for the children in their group and will carry any required allergy medication with them during activities and meal times.

Up until your school's specific booking cut off, parents can book online on the day of care. If you are wishing to make a booking after the school's booking cut off, please contact our Admin Team.
You may contact the Admin Team up until 5pm the day before the care date to make a change to your booking. At this point you may either move your booking to another day or cancel the booking and place credit on your account to use for future bookings.
You will receive your credit in the form of a discount code which you will be able to apply to future bookings.
