Swim Test
KS1 & KS2 swimmers will try and complete a swim test at the beginning of each session. The swim test is 3 widths of the shallow end, using a strong swimming stroke on their front, without touching the bottom. The swimmers are only allowed one attempt of the swim test per session. The passing of the swim test is judged by the Lifeguard and lead Munchkins instructor. If a child does not pass the test they will be put in arm bands. Reception children will automatically be put in arm bands and will not participate in the test.
