From 19th–30th October, children from Pre-School to Year 8 can spend their days swimming, playing sports, taking on new challenges and getting stuck into plenty of Munchkin fun.

With full days from 9:30 am–4:30 pm and extended hours available, half-term childcare is sorted.

Our holiday camps can be booked for a week or an individual day. Please see below for our pricing structure:

  • Full day: £45.00 (9:30am–4:30pm). Pre-school £65.00 (for children who are in their final year of pre-school before going in to Reception).
  • Early drop-offs (from 8:00am) and late pickups (until 6:00pm): £6 per service, or £12 for both. Add this service during online booking.
  • Sibling discount: 15% off for additional siblings at checkout.
  • Early Bird Pricing: £5 Early bird pricing applicable till 27th September. Full day cost reduced to £40 if booked before cut-off date.
  • Full week discount: 15% off if you book a full calendar week. Discount will be applied at checkout.
  • Debit/credit cards (Book Now).
  • Tax-free childcare or childcare vouchers (Book Now) for bookings made 10+ days before camp.
  • For last-minute bookings, pay via card and get reimbursed upon receipt of CCV/tax-free payment.

Swimming at our selected camps is both safe and enjoyable. Each session is carefully supervised by qualified lifeguards and instructors who create a calm and supportive environment. Children learn at their own pace, building water confidence while having fun with their friends in a secure setting.

On arrival at camp, you will be required to complete a consent form if you have not consented online when booking.

Please note the following information.

Reception Children: All children will stay in the roped-off shallow area; coaches will be both in the pool and poolside; all children to wear arm bands.
KS1 Children: All children will stay in the roped-off shallow area; coaches will be both in the pool and poolside; any non-swimmers to wear arm bands.
KS2 & KS3 Children: All children will stay in the roped-off shallow area; coaches will be both in the pool and poolside; any non-swimmers to wear arm bands.

Swim Test
KS1, KS2 & KS3 swimmers will try and complete a swim test at the beginning of each session. The swim test is 3 widths of the shallow end, using a strong swimming stroke on their front, without touching the bottom. The swimmers are only allowed one attempt of the swim test per session. The passing of the swim test is judged by the Lifeguard and lead Munchkins instructor. If a child does not pass the test they will be put in arm bands. Reception children will automatically be put in arm bands and will not participate in the test.

Each day is packed with fun, laughter and learning, as children dive into exciting adventures.  Every themed day is designed to be inclusive, age-appropriate, and full of activities that promote teamwork, creativity, confidence, and curiosity. These days blend education with excitement; creating unforgettable memories and smiles.

At Munchkin Sports, every camp day is bursting with energy, laughter, and learning. Children take part in a variety of activities tailored to their age group, from sports and games to creative sessions all led by friendly, qualified coaches. 

Our goal? To help every child build confidence, make new friends, and discover new skills in a safe, professional and fun environment. 

  • Age-Based Groups:
    Each child joins one of our groups, such as the Cheeky Lions or Sharp Shooters, with activities tailored to their age and ability.
    From tennis and team building to art, dodgeball, and football, every session is designed to keep children active and engaged.

  • Structured Yet Fun:
    Days include dedicated sessions, snack breaks, free play, and creative downtime ensuring a perfect mix of structure and flexibility.

  • Early Drop-Off & Late Pick-Up:
    Standard camp hours run from 9:30 am – 4:30 pm, but parents can opt for early drop-off from 8:00 am or late pick-up until 6:00 pm for added convenience.

  • Child Choice Philosophy:
    Each day’s activities are finalised the evening before, based on staff feedback and children’s interests  giving every camper a say in their fun!

  • Pre-School Group Ratio:
    One Group Lead with two Camp Assistants per 24 children.
  • Reception Group Ratio:
    1:10 — One Group Lead with two Camp Assistants per 30 children.

  • KS1 & KS2 Groups Ratio:
    1:15 — One Group Lead with one Camp Assistant per 30 children.

  • Safety and Safeguarding:
    All staff are recruited following our Safer Recruitment process and are enhanced DBS checked. Each site has a Designated Safeguarding Lead and Head Office has a Designated Safeguarding Team. All sites have a team of Paediatric First Aiders and each morning at camp, families will register at the Admin Desk, where any medication (excluding asthma pumps and autoinjectors, which remain with the Group Lead) is handed in securely.

What to pack for a day at munchkin sports camp

Labelling: Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s full name.

Bags: All belongings should be placed in one labelled backpack that your child can carry themselves.

NO Personal or precious Items: Please avoid sending toys, Pokémon cards, or other personal belongings – they may get lost.

Clothing: We recommend clothes that can get messy – the children are very active and creative throughout the day.

  • Large refillable water bottle
  • A healthy and balanced packed lunch plus snacks for morning and afternoon break:
    • Please ensure your child can open all items independently (e.g. peeled oranges, opened packets etc.)
    • Strict NO‑NUT policy (this includes pesto and Nutella)
    • We will not have access to fridges to store lunchboxes on site, so we recommend packing your child’s lunch in an insulated lunch bag with a cool pack or ice block.
    • Siblings must have separate lunchboxes as they may be in different groups.
  • Windproof/waterproof coat
  • In summer: a sunhat and suncream (We ask that children arrive at camp with their first layer of suncream already applied. This will be regularly re-applied throughout the day).
  • Spare clothes:
    • Younger children: 2 full sets
    • Older children: At least 1 full set

If your child requires medication at camp (inhalers, auto‑injectors, antibiotics, creams, allergy tablets/Piriton etc.):

  • Please ensure it is:
    • In its original box with the prescription label and placed in a clear plastic bag which is clearly labelled with your child’s name
    • If your child has a care plan, please include it. If not, you will be asked to complete a medication form on arrival.

  • Slow‑release carbs: wholemeal sandwiches, wraps, pasta/rice salads, oat bars
  • Fruit & veg: bananas, berries, apple slices, carrot sticks, cucumber
  • Protein: chicken, tuna, cheese, yoghurt, hummus, eggs
  • Healthy snacks: rice cakes, wholegrain crackers, popcorn (plain), yoghurt tubes
  • Water only

 

❌ DON’T include:

  • Sweets or chocolate

We understand that choosing the right school holiday childcare provider is vital and the process can be confusing, so we have provided answers to some of the most frequently asked questions parents have when booking with Munchkin Sports. If the answer to your question is not provided below, please contact our Admin Team on admin@munchkinsports.com or on 020 8658 3777, as they are happy to help.

All Munchkin Sports Camp venues are Ofsted registered on the Early Years Register for 3-5 year olds, the Compulsory Register for 5-8 year olds and the Voluntary Register for 8-11 year olds. Our registrations mean we comply with the safeguarding, welfare and well-being, inclusion and learning and development Ofsted requirements. All our staff are fully vetted and trained and we ensure our extremely high standards are delivered consistently at every single one of our venues. Our policies and procedures are regularly reviewed and updated to ensure we meet the necessary requirements and the safety and welfare of the children in our camps will always be our number one priority.

Each of our venues has a separate registration and a unique registration number. This number will be required if you need to set up tax free childcare or childcare voucher payments with us, give feedback or view previous inspection reports.

You can book individual days or full weeks. There is a discounted rate if you book the full week.

For a day at camp your child will need:
- A large refillable water bottle.
- A healthy and balanced packed lunch.
- Snacks for breaks.
- We are a nut free camp due to allergies so we kindly ask you to ensure your child's food contains no nuts; this includes: pesto, chocolate and chocolate spread.
- A change of clothes and underwear in case of an accident or wet weather. For the younger children we recommend two changes of clothes.
- A coat or waterproof.
- In summer: a sunhat and suncream (We ask that children arrive at camp with their first layer of suncream already applied. This will be regularly re-applied throughout the day).

If your child is attending a camp that offers swimming they will need:
- A towel, swimming costume and goggles (if needed) on the.
- We will provide armbands for all Reception children and non-swimmers.

Please ensure your child does not bring:
- Money.
- Mobile phones or any other electronic equipment.

Munchkin Sports cannot be held responsible nor can they compensate if items get damaged or go missing.

At Munchkins Camps, we design every day with every child in mind, offering a wide range of sports, team-building games, creative arts and crafts, and our hugely popular Mega Days – from animal encounters to giant inflatables and themed adventure days. Children develop motor skills, confidence, and independence through a blend of individual and group challenges, all within the unique camp atmosphere our experienced staff create.

Each camp is led by a fully trained Senior Camp Manager with Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid qualifications, supported by a dedicated team to ensure every day runs smoothly and safely.
