Big well done to Harry, from Mrs Martin at St James! Just wanted to pass on a message to Harry, our sports coach for this week about Ofsted. We just wanted to thank him for all his hard work today, he did very well. It must have been stressful for him and we kept asking him to do different stuff in the lessons and he did it. So a huge thank you to him! I won’t be in school on Thursday to see him but if you can pass the message on that would be amazing.

Charlie M has been fantastic at Rosemead. He has taken everyone under his wing and has shared his knowledge with the group and helping them lead games of their own. He has been especially helpful to the newer coaches coming up to camp giving them advice on how to lead better sessions.

Maddy Butler was a brilliant camp manager over the last week, very helpful for all the group leads and made sure the week ran very smoothly. I think she needs to get a shoutout as she made the camp brilliant to work at and my second favourite camp week of all time!

Big shout out to Claire and her team at Babington. Not only did they ace their mock Ofsted inspection, but they got some fantastic feedback: Mum dropped her daughter off at camp for the first time on Friday morning – they have just moved in across the road from the school and her daughter had been watching our holiday camp all week from their house and it looked so fun that she begged her mum to let her go too

Callum Jackson did a brilliant job running his first Holiday Camp as a Camp Manager, taking it all in his stride. Children were loving it and you could feel the buzzy atmosphere when you arrived at the camp. Not only this, but they also hit Tubbenden’s highest ever numbers to date! Well done to Callum and his team.
